Are you looking for a lighthouse?
For your loved one? For your client? For your student? For your beautiful, RESILIENT, weary self? I see you, I am you, I am your lighthouse.
I am Autistic, I used to work as a psychologist with disabled clients, I am a bush school teacher who attracts a lot of disabled folk in my “classroom” who don’t feel safe anywhere else. I see you, I am you, I am your lighthouse.
I know of the struggles, I know of the funding never stretching quite far enough, I know of the classrooms filled with difficulties and never enough training or resources. I know of the trauma done to my kin through misunderstanding about how the neuro-divergent brain is designed.
