Welcome to The Dragonflies + Mudpies Nature Collective Online Hub

Before you dive into the magical content I have for you, I would like to support your transition with 1 of 2 special options:

  • You can join me for four webinars over four weeks to gentle step into a decolonised model of home learning and living

  • You can purchase my book; a journal of snapshots from our unschooling journey so far, with recipes, inspiration for rhythms and rituals, songs, and ideas for recording your child’s learning. This is a great starting point for building trust in your child’s ability to learn and return to your own instincts

    After this four week period we should have the funds to launch the app and get you and your child into your daily lessons!

What is The Dragonflies + Mudpies Nature Collective Online Hub?

An interactive platform where we host most-daily lessons on nature, aboriginal culture and language, disability culture and Auslan, kindness and gratitude, emotion literacy, and so much more! The lessons are curated through an Indigenous-lens.

This is not just a paper curriculum that you download (as stunning as those nature ones are!); this app allows you to feel like you are right there at bush school with us;

AND,

It has a variety of different mediums to engage a variety of learning styles.

We do live online excursions, tutorials, guest webinars, provide flash cards and animations to enhance learning, sing songs and read stories, and so much more!

Who should enrol?

Nature-loving Students: Folks that love nature will quickly become obsessed with this app.

City Folk: This app will allow students who don’t have much access to nature to learn and experience the wonder vicariously.

Parents: At The Treehouse Community we believe in the power of inter-generational learning and encourage parents to immerse in learning and well-being activities alongside their children.

Teachers: Indigenise your classroom learning with wisdom pillars of sharing, caring and reciprocal kinship responsibilities through guidance from Lou, an ex-psychologist who specialises in childhood development and disability inclusion.

Everyone: I’m forever asked to do tours on foraging, workshops on preserving food and medicine, and how to protect the land and honour the people that were there first. This hub is for ALL AGES, whether you are a parent or teacher or not, you will benefit from this community.
