What age? Lou has read this book to all primary school ages and the DIY worm farm activity has been done with all ages from toddlers to Elders.
Event Agenda:
Book reading: Lou is a truly engaging speaker who invites much interaction throughout the reading.
Sensory immersion: Lou creates a variety of opportunities for children who cannot engage with the reading start-to-finish, to immerse in sensory play and regulation; bringing opportunity to learn to listen to their needs and creating a more permissive space that allows access for a wider range of vulnerable folks.
Movement and meditation: Throughout the reading and play Lou invites the children and adults to notice their mind-body experience and to bring nourishing movement, song and mindful awareness to the space.
DIY Worm Farm: If folks are interested they can build their own miniature worm farm to take home.
